Itamar Security
Last night terrorists infiltrated one of our hilltop neighborhoods and opened fire on soldiers doing guard duty. Thank G-D nobody was hurt. Unfortunately, the terrorists got away. Recently there has been an escalation of attempts to steal from and harm our hilltop neighborhoods. Just last week a herd of sheep and some cows were stolen from this same hilltop. With the quick reaction of our response team the herd almost in its entirety was returned to its owners.
Itamar had a very timey and welcome visit from Colonel Nimrod Aloni who is the head of the Shomron regiment. Colonel Aloni came to discuss security matters with the Itamar council and its security committee.
Itamar stays ever vigilant and ready to keep our citzens safe and secure.

Attack On Itamar
Dear friends of Itamar. Some of you may not have heard the news that late day Israel time January 13, there was gunfire on the hills of Itamar. The army took control and no one was hurt. We thank G-D for the miracle that no one was hurt.
See the update from Mayor Moshe Goldsmith on his weekly Torah Portion.
Moshe and Leah thank you all for your prayers and support. They do feel your love.
Isaiah 40:1 COMFORT, COMFORT, My people, says your G-d. This command is our duty and privilege.

Washington State Tour Group Visits Itamar
It was our greatest pleasure to host our dear friends Mark and Vickie Biltz together with their congregation from Washington State.
Actually, people from many other states and even other countries joined this group in their tour of Israel. One of the highlights for them was their visit to Itamar because of the friendship that has been building with Itamar and the people of their congregation. More Photos....
We had a great day together visiting Mt Grizim, the mountain of the blessing, and touring our town of Itamar. They planted trees and were addressed by members of the community. They are very special people and truly love the land of Israel.

The Best Way to Bless Itamar
So what is the best way to bless Itamar?
First, the gifts you send directly to Friends of Itamar are a blessing, using Good Search on your computer is a blessing, but when the people of Itamar see your face, and get to share with your about their land in their land, that is the best way you can bless Itamar.
I am continuously asked by the people of Israel, "Tani when are you coming back?" You give us strength to keep going on. Now, it's not me who gives them strength, it's seeing people who truly care come to Israel and share truth about their life.
I travel quite frequently to Israel, so if anyone wants to really bless Itamar, join me on one of my trips! I promise you will never be the same!
My love to all in Itamar! I will see you soon.

News From Itamar
It has been a busy time for Itamar - lots of visits from friends and supporters.
Itamar is not standing still. She is growing as a community with new homes, new marriages, new blessings and the birth of new residents!
Rabbi Moshe has given us another Torah lesson. This time the Torah Portion is Noach. Be blessed as you share the news with Itamar.
